Scuba Diving

Situated on the northwest coast, Mullaghmore is a perfect access point to the wonders of Donegal Bay and the Atlantic ocean.

The picturesque stone harbour in Mullaghmore, built between 1822 and 1841, provides ideal sheltered anchorage and launching point for small and medium craft.

As for the diving, there are a number of shore and boat dives located around the head of Mullaghmore. A short boat trip across the Donegal Bay is the peninsula of St. John’s Point and a variety of shore and boat dive sites. Weather permitting diving is also available off Inishmurray Island and is well worth the the trip.

There is a secure drying and storage room at Harbour View suitable for storing wetsuits, bottles, stab jackets, etc. Gear washing facilities are also available.

PADI courses, gear rental and tank fills are available locally.
